Our story started with the planting of New City Church of Los Angeles in Downtown, LA, in 2008. In 2016, after a year of prayer and discernment, the leadership of New City Church felt convicted by the Holy Spirit that God was calling us to broaden our reach by planting new parishes in other neighborhoods of Los Angeles. Through prayer and discernment, David Guyer decided to take the call to plant the first new parish in San Fernando Valley.
San Fernando Valley Parish has been in core group development since early 2017, and launch team development in 2018, having preview services. The plan is to have a Grand Opening in April of 2018.
