New City Church-San Fernando Valley is a new multi-ethnic, multi-socioeconomic, multi-generational, non-denominational Christian church in San Fernando Valley. We are a diverse community seeking to be like Jesus. We are a parish of New City Church of Los Angeles.
We welcome everyone, whether you are Black, White, Latino, or Asian, rich or poor, liberal or conservative, gay or straight, or morally upright or a loose. At New City, we believe in not judging anyone because we know that we ourselves are more flawed and broken than we know—yet more loved and accepted by God through Jesus than we ever thought possible! So, come as you are.

Are we a liberal or a conservative church?
We are neither a conservative church nor a liberal church. The gospel doesn’t fit into those categories. Christianity isn’t about adhering to a list of “dos and don’ts.” We acknowledge that we are all in a process of formation, we are sinners who are loved by God and are being transformed by God’s grace. Therefore, we are non-judgmental.
We’re a gospel-centered church
This means we place our trust in the God’s work of renewing all things by faith in Christ. Through Jesus and the Spirit, God has provided the sufficient way of salvation for all who will surrender themselves to God. Because of God’s grace, we live as children of God, unconditionally accepted and loved, and not as those who live in fear. This is at the heart of who we are.
